How it Works
Lawnporn History is a systemic insecticide. Systemic pesticides are chemicals that are absorbed by a plant when applied to seeds, soil, or leaves. The chemicals then circulate through the plant’s tissues, killing the insects that feed on them. For this reason they are more effective then pesticides that work by contact only. Some insects such as moths are difficult to kill will contact only insecticides. Because they are absorbed into the plant, systemic insecticides are also effective for a longer period of time, meaning they are more residual. The active chemical in History “thiamethoxam” is approved for food crops so it is safe for pets when washed into the soil.
