Selleys Liquid Nails Fast Grab is a high strength construction adhesive that provides strong initial holding power. The water-based formulation is low odour and allows for easy water clean up.
- Fast grab minimises the need to support joints while product cures.
- Strong bond – which is flexible enough to respond to building movement, allowing a strong bond to be maintained over time.
- Easily cleans up with water.
- Low odour, low toxic, low VOC (Meets GBCA VOC limits for multipurpose construction adhesives), less harmful to the environment
- Paintable after 12 hours
- Cures and works best on porous surfaces, which makes it ideal for sticking wall panels to masonry.
- Doesn’t drip, sag or string, so there is less mess when you are using the product
- Meets or exceeds requirements specified by Australian Standard AS 2329-1999.
- Bridges gaps, up to 9mm, on rough and ill fitting construction material
- Faster curing is achieved when at least one surface is porous.
- Liquid Nails Fast Grab should always be used in conjuction with mechanical fasteners in structural, critical or high stress applications.
- Usually a strong bond is achieved in 24 hours and continues to strengthen over 3 days. Expect longer times for less porous surfaces and in cold weather.
- Bridges gaps up to 9mm
- Suitable for sheltered exterior applications
- Paintable after 12 hours
- Cured Liquid Nails Fast Grab residues can be removed by rubbing with Acetone. This may take a few minutes to penetrate.
- Liquid Nails Fast Grab shrinks slightly on curing.
- High humidity and low temperatures can both significantly slow the cure rate of Liquid Nails Fast Grab especially when used on non-porous surfaces.
- When applying to one surface, ensure sufficient Liquid Nails Fast is used so that some adhesive extrudes out when surfaces are brought together. Then wipe off excess if necessary. Â If glue is not visible, then sufficient contact may not have been made between the surfaces and a weak joint may result.
- Uncured product may be removed with water.
- Cured product can be removed by scraping or sanding.
