Selleys Plastibond Heavy Duty is a multi-purpose plastic putty that can be used for building or repair work where filling, bonding or moulding is necessary. It sets in 20 minutes without shrinkage, after the hardener is mixed in.
- Plastibond has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces
- Sets hard in 20 minutes without shrinking or cracking
- Can be used inside and outside the home
- Can be sawn, drilled, tapped, sanded and painted
- Can be coloured with cement oxides or paint tinters (before adding hardener)
- Surface to be repaired should be clean, dry, unpainted and free from grease or oil.
- For casting applications, use light oil or silicone car polish on the mould before casting.
- Uncured product may be removed with mineral turps.
- Cured product can be removed by sanding and scraping.

- Repairing walls, ceilings, floors, tiles, doors, locks, etc.
- Fixing bolts and other fixtures into concrete.
- Repairs to furniture, sporting equipment, cars, caravans and boats (above the water line).
- Stopping countersunk heads of fastenings in any material.
- Repairing chips in concrete steps
- Weight support and high impact areas on doors and windows (i.e. replacing hinges and door locks)
