Protectex Willows Timber Preserver is a safe, environmentally friendly Creosote replacement product.
Willows Timber Preserver is a multigrade mineral based parafinic oil blend that provides advanced protection timber below and above ground and is suitable for poles, logs, fences, posts, sleepers, treated pine and hardwood.
It protects timber above and below ground from moisture travelling through the timber.
The blend of parafinic oils and waxes makes it a unique barrier for the protection of timber.
Protectex Willows Timber Preserver has no smell, is non hazardous and is completely safe to use.
Depending on the thickness of coating applied the treated timber will remain moist and tacky for several weeks. As this is the case the oil is most suited to underground protection but works equally well above ground also.
